Hey my haters hear me out for a third time... and an invitation to read, know and understand what Science actually studies and why.

I do not authorize psychological nor psychiatric formulations, interpretations nor diagnosis, etc. I do not authorize any Religious use of my texts. Rights Reserved. This not medical nor legal advice nor advice of any kind.

I think People should be more effectively aware Psychiatric Labels, some call diagnoses, have nothing to stand on: they have no validity. No validity at all, none, zero, nada...

Psychiatric Disorders are imputed and defined using mere Intersubjective agreement rates, not with Objective measurements nor assessments, and as such they will always lack Empiric and Scientific Validity. They are mere gut feelings, Subjectivities, which even if correlated among more than two people will never stop lacking Objectiveness. They will be forever Subjective Pinocchios.

There are no Mind-o-meters...

The inter-rater reliability does not provide Objectiveness to any determination that a Psychiatric Disorder is present, or worse, that it actually exists, because it is a mere agreement of Subjectivities, not the agreement of real valid Scientific and/or Empirical measurements.

They are the opposite of agreements in Science with Empirical Methods, which prove convincingly by using two different measuring apparatuses a given finding is present under two different measuring/experimental conditions.

And finally the Mind is not Real, it is not a part of Reality, it is a soul claimed to be attached to a brain. And because it is imaginary, called deceptively and misleadingly a construct, to conceal the truth, the beyond doubt fact that the Mind and all things Mental are mere imaginations, are fabrications, fantasies, fictions, they are Products of Magical Thinking which by definition not only does not require causality nor correlations, but is actually by definition resistant to evidence, since Magical Thinking many times is a Belief System, not a knowledge system based on Facts and Opinions.

And even Empiricism does not apply to anything mental, in great but decisive part because the words used to describe the Mental, the Mind, cannot be used consistently to make logical arguments upon which to design, carry and use experimental evidence.

They are riddled with contradictions as sets of simple statements, such is the meaning of consistent: lacking contradictions.

And from contradictory sets of statements nothing of value, testing against or application to Reality can be made and experiments cannot be done based on contradictory sets of statements.

Such is Mad Hatter Empiricism.

Words used in Logic need to have the same definition everywhere they are used, such is an essential non-negociable requirement when those words are used for Empirical measurements. And the concepts defined and represented by those words need to reflect accurately the empirical manipulations of the words and the concepts they describe when doing experiments, otherwise inconsistent, contradictory results are obtained from experiments.

Words used in Psychology and Psychiatry lack such consistent definitions, since those two fields of expressive knowledge are Humanities, not Sciences, where Interpretation, Hermeneutics, is the tool used, not Empiricism, precisely because the meaning of those words is context dependent: its meaning changes depending on the rest of the parts of the text where they are used and along the corpus of such expressive knowledge fields.

Its meaning changes when used in a different context, and such makes Empiricism inaplicable to Psychology and Psychiatry.

And the most obvious examples of Psychological and Psychiatric words not usable for Empirical purposes are the words for Emotions.

And on top of that emotions are clearly directly invisible, they can be experienced and be present in contradictory ways and mere narrative manipulation of those words is riddled with contradictions. The transparency reflecting posible experimental manipulation of the concepts they represent is opaque when manipulating those words even as mere narratives.

Words for Emotions cannot be used in equations, empirical correlations represented as elements in a correlational table are in fact equations of the type if P then Q!, even if they imply some probability they still lead to contradictions.

Brain circuitry proposals ignore the fact brain circuits are also symbols having the same problems than mere words.

Words and brain circuits are Symbols representing irrational Psychological and Psychiatric concepts, concepts which cannot be used with Logical, Empirical nor Scientific Methods…
