So, as poorly as I understand since this is technical stuff above my confident knowledge level, according to Substack both, the like email and the spam email, were sent from the same place: <https://tugbaavci.substack.com/>, through Substack and/or using Substack email servers. But from two, but closely related IP addresses, apparently: 159.135.235.32 and 159.135.230.34. Within a time difference of one second.
I am not saying you did anything wrong, on the contrary, my point is someone appeared to me to be impersonating Substack and its users, probably including me.
Hi Federico, a similar incident occurred a couple of months ago when someone created a different Substack handle using my profile photo and publication name. Unfortunately, I couldn't see the comments from that account because they had blocked me. Fortunately, some readers emailed me about it and reported the account, which Substack then blocked. Are you still able to see those comments?
I am afraid to click the “comments” from an email probably phishing Substack. So I do not know, it was sent to my email, I did not saw them on the web.

Referred on the email as <https://tugbaavci.substack.com/>.

There is an Old Mexican Movie titled "There is the Detail", one of Cantinflas´ greatest actings.
In there the main character says something like:
If work were so good they wouldn´t pay to do it, and the Rich would hoard it.
So the Goal of Life is Living? :)

I guess I was not clear enough:
I got a “like” to a comment I put on your post: excuse me… I am looking for purpose.
I did not received a note from you, I received a “like”. Then I received a comment with spam.
The Posts: “excuse me… I am looking for purpose” is yours right?.
